Potions in Allumeria
Brew, drink, and use the eleven potions that change how you play.
The Potion Station is a utility block that produces eleven distinct potions in Early Access 0.15. Effects range from simple HP restoration to flight, crate-fishing bonuses, and teleport-to-spawn. This guide covers every potion, its recipe if known, duration, and which fights or situations make it worth carrying. Pair it with the boss guide for specific fight prep and the trinkets list for the five passive slots that potions do not fill.
The Potion Station
Place a Potion Station (crafted from Stone and a crafting component) and right-click it with the appropriate ingredients. The station opens a brewing interface that shows available recipes. Each potion has a base ingredient plus a modifier that determines the effect. Some potions may require a Magic Score threshold from the crafting station or a specific ingredient.
Recipes and exact ingredient ratios are best confirmed at the Workbench or Potion Station in-game, as patch notes occasionally shift brewing costs. The crafting guide covers the Potion Station recipe if you need the station itself before brewing.
All potions in Early Access 0.15
Potion of Returning — Teleports you to your spawn point. Essential for deep cave deaths. Keep one in your hotbar, not in a chest. Duration: instant.
Weak Health Potion — Restores 50 HP. The common combat consumable. Craft in bulk before dungeon runs. Not instant: drink it before the next hit lands.
Health Potion — Restores 100 HP. The stronger healing option. Useful in boss phases where you need a larger buffer than Weak Health provides.
Potion of Regeneration — Slowly recovers hearts over five minutes. The Stone of Regeneration trinket provides passive regen; this potion is the consumable equivalent. Stack with the trinket for intense regen during the Forest Spirit fight.
Armoured Potion — Increases defence by 10 points for five minutes. Useful before Snow Spirit or desert worm where large hits are predictable.
Potion of Speed — Increases movement speed for five minutes. Makes copper runs faster and helps in Snow Spirit kite phases.
Potion of Flight — Grants short flight bursts for sixty seconds. The Paraglider trinket provides fall cancel; this potion provides actual flight. Useful for the desert worm dive where vertical positioning matters.
Potion of Poison — Applies the Poison debuff to enemies. Throw at groups of adds during boss fights or use against enemies with specific weaknesses.
Mining Potion — Increases mining speed for five minutes. Saves time when stripping a large ore vein or digging a long tunnel.
Water Walking Potion — Lets you walk on liquids for five minutes. Useful in underwater caves and for crossing lava in the Undergrowth.
Crate Potion — Increases fishing crate drop rates for five minutes. Use before a dedicated fishing session if you need crates for dungeon routing items.
Potion duration and stacking
Most potions last five minutes. Drinking a second potion of the same type resets the duration to full. Drinking different potions stacks their effects. A Speed Potion and an Armoured Potion together give both buffs for their shared five-minute window.
Returning Potion is instant and does not conflict with any timed buff.
Boss fight applications
Forest Spirit — Armoured Potion before the fight. Regeneration Potion if you are going for a long attempt. Keep a Returning Potion in your hotbar in case the arena gets messy.
Snow Spirit — Armoured Potion plus Speed Potion. The kite phase rewards movement speed. Water Walking Potion is situational if permafrost platforms are involved.
Desert Worm — Flight Potion for the dive phase. Speed Potion for tower climbing before the dive. Armoured Potion as a buffer against worm contact damage.
Potion storage
Potions stack to a limit. Carry one or two of each essential potion in your hotbar; store bulk in a chest near your Workbench. Returning Potions should never leave your hotbar during dungeon runs.
The crafting guide covers Potion Station placement and recipe availability. The trinkets list notes which trinkets pair well with potion buffs during long fights.
