Allumeria Controls

Allumeria is a first-person voxel game with a small set of high-leverage binds. The defaults below match the current Steam Early Access client. Everything is remappable in settings, including HUD hide and screenshots. If a friend is on a pad, skip to the Steam Input section; the game advertises full controller support, Xbox, DualShock, DualSense (USB), and gyro through Steam Input.

Movement and camera

Use WASD to walk and the mouse to look. Jump with Space. Sprint is tied to stamina once you equip Boots of Sprinting or similar trinkets; without them you still move at a brisk walk. Crouch or sneak depends on the Sneakers trinket more than a dedicated stealth mode. Falling damage exists, which is why the Paraglider and Jet Boots matter later.

F1 hides the HUD for screenshots. F2 writes a screenshot to your pictures folder. Both binds are remappable. Do not confuse F1 with a pause: pause is Escape, and that is also where you host multiplayer.

Mine, fight, and place

Left-click is the universal gather and attack button. Hold it to chop a trunk, mine a vein, or swing a sword. Short taps work on flint rocks and dropped items. Right-click places the selected block, opens a Workbench, Furnace, chest, or locked door, and interacts with switches, pressure plates, and NPC furniture.

Bows are the exception. Hold left-click for a fast, inaccurate stream of arrows. Hold right-click to draw; a full charge takes about 1.5 seconds, flies farther, and hits harder. Crossbows and novelty guns (Snowball Gun, Fart Gun, Shuriken launcher) follow their own fire patterns, but the left-versus-right split is the rule of thumb. Ammo crafts from flint or rocks; a slingshot uses rocks, not the same flint stack you need for tools.

Inventory and crafting shortcuts

E opens inventory. The bottom row is the hotbar. Number keys select hotbar slots. Drag items with the mouse. Shift-click a recipe to craft once and dump the result into inventory. Hold right-click on a recipe to craft repeatedly. Shift + right-click crafts a batch and sends it to inventory. Those three shortcuts are the difference between a clean first night and an inventory that still holds raw logs at dusk.

The inventory also has five trinket slots. Effects apply only when equipped. Parking Gecko Gloves in a chest does nothing. See the trinkets list for what each slot is worth.

Building radial menu

Hold R to open the radial shape menu on a compatible block. Most build blocks offer about six styles: full cube, slab, stairs, fence, and similar cuts. Special blocks add extra shapes. This is how you get glass stairs or a dirt fence without extra inventory IDs. Release R on the slice you want, then place with right-click. Wires and Entwinement use their own placement rules. Painted wires only connect to the same colour. Switches send a clean on/off pulse so pressure plates do not double-fire. If a door says it is locked, right-click it to read the required key; Forest Keys open forest doors and are consumed.

Combat feel and stamina

Melee is timing plus positioning, not a deep combo list. Keep a shield-adjacent trinket or high ground when Wizards start homing shots. Stamina appears as its own bar. Climbing with Gecko Gloves and gliding both drain it. Running out mid-climb is a fall. Eat or wait before a tall dungeon shaft.

Health starts at twenty and grows with Heart Beets. Weak Health Potions and Health Potions drop from fights and shops. The Alpha Shop still trades tokens in some builds while NPC merchants come online; token values run Copper 1, Silver 100, Gold 10,000, Allumerium 1,000,000.

Controllers and Steam Deck

Steam lists full controller support and Steam Input. Gyro is exposed for look aim. Community threads already report Steam Deck and Xbox One quirks; if a pad does nothing, force Steam Input on in the controller overlay and avoid wireless DualShock/DualSense if the store page still says USB only. Keyboard remains the most precise way to use the R radial menu.
