Allumeria Progression Checklist
Tick these boxes in order so biomes do not eat you.
Print this, paste it in Discord, or keep it next to the game. Each line is a gate. Skipping gates is how Forest Fuzzies and Yetis farm players. How-to pages are linked; this page is the order. Early Access 0.15 assumed.
Hour one
- Create a character (skin can wait).
- Create a world; write down the seed if friends will join later.
- Pick up Flint; chop logs; craft Planks and a Workbench.
- Craft Flint Pickaxe, then axe and sword.
- Mine coal; craft Torches; pave the floor with Planks.
- Place a Door. Survive one night.
Details: getting started, controls, building.
Forest chapter
- Furnace (eight Stone, two Coal). Smelt copper. Craft Copper Pickaxe before a copper toy gun.
- Copper Armour piece or two. Heart Beet if you see one.
- Find both Forest Dungeon trunks. Hold Forest Keys; do not spend the first on junk.
- Craft Forest Hammer when ingots allow. Farm Jelly Spoon fragments.
- Central chest: Forest Pickaxe. Break Undergrowth Rock only after that.
- Ten Skull Fragments → Ominous Deer Skull → Forest Spirit. Pave the arena.
Details: crafting, Forest Dungeon, bosses, tools progression.
Snow chapter
- Ice Torches. Do not picnic on permafrost.
- Cobalt Pickaxe, then cobalt weapon. Gold is extra, not the plan.
- Snow Dungeon mapped. Big Snowballs and Evil Tophat ready.
- Snow Spirit down. Hat’s Off! if you care about achievements.
- Swap Forest Jelly Spoon out of trinket slots.
Details: biomes, weapons tier list.
Desert chapter
- Palladium Pickaxe. Movement trinkets: Gecko Gloves, Paraglider, Jet Boots.
- Tower climb, roof, altar, worm dive. Do not enter in copper greaves.
- Fill five trinket slots from the trinkets list.
Always-on habits
- Backup world folder on patch day (patch notes).
- Spare tools in a chest before Host Multiplayer (multiplayer).
- Demo friends stay in forest (demo vs full game).
- Read Early Access 0.15 so you are not waiting for a 1.0 that is not this branch.
If a box is unchecked, do not take the next biome as a scenic walk. Allumeria chapters are difficulty steps. The Guides Hub teaches the fights; this list only stops you from fighting them undergeared.
When 0.16 adds a fourth biome, add a fourth section. Until then, palladium is the cap. Joke weapons are allowed after the pickaxe of that chapter exists, not before.
How to recover if you are already lost
If you already wandered into snow in copper, do not delete the character. Characters keep gear across worlds, so you can open a calmer forest map, finish the hammer and Forest Pickaxe, then return. If you spent every Forest Key on side doors, farm night mobs and crates until another drops; keys are consumed, not soulbound. If your five trinket slots are empty, mine ordinary underground chests before you assume you must perfect-clear a dungeon. Drop tables after 0.13 are friendlier than old videos claim.
If co-op guests are the ones undergeared, park them at the paved hut with spare Flint Pickaxes instead of dragging them into jelly. Teaching is cheaper than a wipe that despawns Forest Spirit. The Guides Hub has the lectures; this checklist is only the syllabus. Tick one chapter per session if evenings are short. Allumeria is denser than it looks, and rushing three biomes in one sitting is how people decide the game is unfair when they actually skipped iron.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the Allumeria progression order?
Flint → copper → Forest Dungeon and Forest Spirit → cobalt and Snow Spirit → palladium and desert worm. Tick the lists above.
Can I skip the Forest Hammer?
Not if you want to handle forest dungeon bricks after 0.13. It is on the forest chapter list for a reason.
When should I fight bosses?
After the matching dungeon tool and armour. Rituals are in the boss guide.
Does co-op change the order?
No. It only changes how fast you gather. Guests still need copper before the trunk. See multiplayer.
