Allumeria Updates

What changed from itch alpha to Steam Early Access.

Early Access Updates Hub

Allumeria updates fast for a solo voxel project. Public builds started on itch.io on 9 February 2025. Steam playtests followed. A forest demo with multiplayer landed at the end of January 2026. Steam Early Access began 28 August 2026 as 0.15. This hub is the table of contents for that timeline. Use it when a YouTube video contradicts a menu version number.

Read these three pages

The Early Access 0.15 notes explain what the paid Steam branch contains: roughly five hundred unique items, three major biomes, three dungeons, three bosses, RGB building, and Steam P2P co-op. The patch notes compress the noisy alpha: snow in 0.9, language tab in 0.9.5, multiplayer and skins in 0.12, Forest Dungeon rework in 0.13, 3D terrain in 0.14, asset packs in 0.14.3. Demo vs full game tells forest-only players what they are missing and confirms worlds are meant to carry forward.

How to think about versions

Numbers before 0.12 are itch/playtest fossils. Advice that says Forest Dungeons are lantern brick towers with four copies per world is pre-0.13. Advice that says there is no multiplayer is pre-0.12. Advice that says you can bomb Undergrowth Rock is pre-0.13. When in doubt, believe the in-game version string, then this hub, then wiki.gg.

The February 2026 Microsoft DMCA scare paused the Steam page and then vanished when the claim was withdrawn. It is not a gameplay patch, but it is why some news articles exist. The review covers that week in buyer language.

What usually changes

Biomes, dungeon generators, stamina rules, trinket drop tables, and NPC housing checks. Building rules (hold R, RGB, paint) have been stable as a pillar. Co-op is P2P and still waiting on dedicated servers. Workshop support is a frequent community ask, not a shipped button. Asset packs in 0.14.3 are the official texture hook.

If you are mid-run when a patch drops, back up the world folder, then read patch notes before you spend Forest Keys. Progression order in the progression checklist rarely reverses, but individual recipes do.

Where official words live

Steam news for app 3516590, the Unobtainable Melon YouTube channel, itch.devlogs, and Discord. We collect those links on the links page. This wiki is unofficial and will trail hotfixes by hours. Gameplay systems after a patch still match the guides hub: survive, craft, raid, boss. Only the numbers move.

Players who only want “is it out” should read Early Access notes, not this index. Players who want “why is my dynamite useless” want patch notes. Players who want “can my friend on demo join” want the demo page. That is the whole information architecture.
